Portraiture is an area which I studied at a younger age through college. I found this was key to developing good drawing skills. 

 

This series of images were inspired by a trip I took through parts of Asia including Thailand and Vietnam.

All images were taken by myself of local people, and were then sketched using a mix of biro pen and coloured pencils.

The images 3 at the bottom were inspired by artist Mark Powell, who used a range of maps, envelopes and newspapers to draw upon.
